About Us

BayCare Health System is currently affiliated with the following Florida Universities and Colleges of Pharmacy below either by providing opportunities for student learning experiences, internship programs, as well as offering resident teaching certificates. Each year BayCare Health-System precepts hundreds of pharmacy students from across these various pharmacy training programs during their Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPE) and/or Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotations. Many BayCare programs also have affiliations with schools of pharmacy outside of the state of Florida. Please contact individual sites to learn more information about their other affiliations.

We’re honored to stand with law enforcement and provide medical and mental health care for children rescued during “Operation Home for the Holidays.” This multi-city operation led to the recovery of 122 kids, including 57 in Tampa Bay. Learn more:
