Why did I choose to complete a residency?
I chose to pursue a PGY2 residency because I knew it would provide me the additional training and tools needed to enhance my clinical skills to evolve into a well-rounded pediatric clinical pharmacist. Residency will provide me with opportunities to become more confident in my ability to provide the utmost quality patient care while also allowing me to enrich my personal and professional growth.

Why did I choose St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital at BayCare?
I chose St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital because they provide the opportunity to learn from a diverse patient population, while mastering fundamental clinical rotations. During my time as a student on APPEs and my PGY1, I received constant support and encouragement from all the pharmacists, residents, and BayCare team. I knew St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital was where I wanted to continue to work, learn, and grow as a pediatric pharmacy resident. St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital provides a diverse selection of electives to choose from. The learning opportunities at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital align with my career goals of becoming a well-rounded pediatric clinical pharmacist.
