Why did I choose to complete a residency?
I chose to complete a residency after practicing for a year in the an outpatient setting. I believed a residency would allow for a stronger transition  back into an inpatient setting as a clinical pharmacist. A residency would allow me to expand on my clinical experiences and knowledge so that I may work at the top of my degree as a clinical pharmacist.

Why did I choose St. Joseph’s Hospital at BayCare?
St. Joseph’s hospital at BayCare offers a large diversity of rotations and experiences that provides opportunities to practice in fields you wouldn’t normally see in pharmacy school. The program is very flexible in providing an experience tailored to your interests with experienced preceptors and staff. Overall it is the environment of BayCare which caters to learning and growing as a professional, that really spoke to me as a program.
