Why did I choose to complete a residency?
All throughout pharmacy school, I always kept completing a residency on my radar. I finalized my decision to complete a residency because I wanted a challenge while doing something I love that serves my local community. Completing a residency will help me build my critical thinking skills, further my confidence, and continue to expand my pharmacy knowledge through the hands-on learning and experiences I will gain.
Why did I choose St. Anthony’s Hospital at BayCare?
I did not want to complete just any residency; I wanted a residency at St. Anthony’s Hospital. The moment I walked in I felt instant positive energy and could sense employees’ happy and caring attitudes. The pharmacy team at SAH is extremely kind, knowledgeable, respectful, and supportive. I felt it was a good match for me and am excited for the opportunities and experiences to come from my rotations. I was also born here, so it is coming full circle for me!
