Why did I choose to complete a residency?
Prior to pharmacy school, my first job was in an institutional setting. From that experience, I knew that I wanted to continue to work in a clinical setting. My goal is to find my niche and become the best well-rounded clinician at the start my career. Completing PGY1 residency training will give me the foundational clinical practice and career opportunity to explore the various aspects of clinical pharmacy.

Why did I choose St. Joseph’s Hospital – South at BayCare?
During pharmacy school, I worked as an intern within the BayCare system. I enjoyed the organization’s positive environment and identified with its core values of trust, dignity, respect, responsibility, and excellence. I knew right away that I wanted to continue with BayCare because it will help me thrive as I begin my career. I chose to be part of St. Joseph’s Hospital – South because of its location in the rapidly developing city of Riverview and because it is a newer program that provides flexibility.
