Why did I choose to complete a residency?
It is important to me to optimize my skills as a clinical pharmacist and educator. To that end, I have decided to pursue additional pharmacy training through residency to gain a more comprehensive pharmacotherapy foundation. Upon completion of a PGY1 residency, I plan to practice as a clinical pharmacist, working to improve the quality of medication management as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Why did I choose St. Anthony’s Hospital at BayCare?
When I was doing my research on the hospitals I would ideally want to be a resident, I looked for the mission and values that best align with mine. What resonated with me about St. Anthony’s is its mission for compassionate care. I also value the program’s scheduling flexibility and various elective options (neurology, psychiatry, and transitions of care). These program features will allow me to further develop my skills and knowledge in a wide range of pharmacological disciplines and to continue participating in research projects, advancing patient care.
