Why did I choose to complete a residency?
I chose to pursue residency training to broaden clinical decision-making abilities and to gain experience at a faster pace and in a more systematic manner. Being exposed to different pharmacy practice settings as a student, I recognized the multiple facets a residency can offer to enable me to practice at the top of my license and provide exceptional patient care.

Why did I choose St. Joseph’s Hospital at BayCare?
As a student intern for BayCare, I have always been tremendously impressed by the value and mission that BayCare upholds for the team members and patients. When I learned about how closely the Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency Program at Winter Haven Hospital aligns with my long-term career goal, I am confident that I will be adequately prepared to become a competent ambulatory care practitioner.
