Why did I choose to complete a residency?
My interest in post-graduate training was first inspired by the direct patient care experiences I was fortunate to experience as a pharmacy intern. Being a medication expert that is responsible for effective and precise care is one of the most gratifying aspects of pharmacy. A pharmacy residency will allow me to deliver high quality patient care while expanding my clinical knowledge. I look forward to fostering relationships within the pharmacy team through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Why did I choose Morton Plant Hospital at BayCare?
Morton Plant offers a plethora of resources and training to allow pharmacy residents to become well-rounded clinical pharmacists. While not only having a versatile environment for pharmacists to grow in unique areas such as Cardiothoracic Surgery, the residency program also consists of individuals who are ecstatic and enthusiastic about developing the next generation of pharmacists. This combination of program design and hospital acute care services allows pharmacy residents to develop areas of improvement in emergent decision making and successful clinical research. Additionally, the residency team is highly dedicated to mentorship, has a commitment to leadership, and simultaneously creates a welcoming environment.
