Why did I choose to complete a residency?
Since the beginning of pharmacy school, I knew I wanted to further my clinical training by completing a PGY-1 residency. The breadth of opportunities and experiences that I will encounter during residency is what will help me become a well-rounded clinical pharmacist. Throughout this year, I hope to improve patients’ lives through all transitions of care and further evidenced based research.

Why did I choose St. Anthony’s Hospital at BayCare?
During my interview, I immediately noticed how caring and excited everyone was to help me succeed. I was aware of BayCare’s great reputation and knew St. Anthony’s would provide comprehensive training in clinical pharmacy and valuable experiences in challenging rotations. What I appreciated the most was their flexibility in tailoring residents’ rotations. When I expressed an interest in geriatrics, they were able to add that elective and support my passions in that field.
