BayCare Welcomes 2022-23 Pharmacy Residency Class

BayCare Health System is excited to welcome 29 new residents to our ranks. The 2022-2023 residency year consists of twenty-two PGY1 residents, one PGY2 ED resident, , one PGY2 Pediatrics resident and four PGY1/PGY2 Master’s of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences with specialization in Health-System Pharmacy Administration residents.

Trauma care remains available in Tampa Bay. The trauma center at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, which also is a pediatric trauma center, will operate through Hurricane Milton to ensure West Central Florida has the care it needs.

In response to Hurricane Milton emergency needs, our retired South Florida Baptist Hospital facility on Alexander St. has been turned over to the state to house health care patients displaced by the storm’s impact. Read more here:
