Why did I choose to complete a residency?
I pursued a PGY-1 pharmacy residency to further develop my clinical knowledge, confidence, and efficiency in patient care. A residency provides comprehensive training across a variety of practice areas and exposure to unique clinical experiences, all of which prepare me to better serve diverse patient populations. This opportunity will help me grow into a well-rounded pharmacist capable of delivering high quality, patient-centered care.

Why did I choose St. Joseph’s Hospital at BayCare?
St. Joseph’s Hospital stood out to me as a place where I could thrive both personally and professionally. During my APPE rotations there, I experienced a culture of support, collaboration, and genuine investment in the growth of future pharmacists. The program’s diverse range of rotations align with my clinical interests and offers the opportunity to explore areas I am passionate about, while also allowing me to give back to the community I grew up in.
