Why did I choose to complete a PGY2 residency?
I pursued a PGY-2 pediatric pharmacy residency to further my passion for caring for pediatric patients and supporting their families during some of their most vulnerable moments. This next step in my training allows me to deepen my pediatric clinical knowledge, strengthen my clinical decision-making skills, and build confidence in managing complex pediatric patients. Through advanced training and diverse clinical experiences, I hope to become a well-rounded pediatric clinical pharmacist who provides compassionate, evidence-based care. My goal is to serve as a trusted resource for patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Why did I choose St. Joseph’s Hospital at BayCare?
What drew me most to St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital is the welcoming, collaborative, and supportive learning environment fostered by the pharmacy team and preceptors. I was also excited by the diverse rotation opportunities, which provide broad exposure to pediatric patients across a wide range of ages, specialties, and levels of acuity. I am excited to have the opportunity to grow in a program that will challenge me while supporting my development as a pediatric clinical pharmacist.
