Why did I choose to complete a residency?
I chose to do a residency because I wanted to challenge myself so that I could become the best healthcare provider possible. Through a residency program, I am being exposed to many different aspects of pharmacy that I am becoming well-rounded in and growing my overall confidence in. Furthermore, residency allows me opportunities in clinical pharmacy that I wouldn’t otherwise be exposed to.

Why did I choose Morton Plant North Bay Hospital at BayCare?
I chose Morton Plant North Bay because I wanted a smaller hospital that was part of a larger system, since I knew that I wanted a perfect combination of community hospital feel with the opportunities of a larger academic medical center. I loved the way that Morton Plant North Bay’s pharmacy staff was dedicated to both academics and getting to know me as a person. Overall, I knew that it would be the perfect fit for both my career interests in critical care and being able to be a part of a bigger community.
