Why did I choose to complete a residency?
I chose to complete a residency because I wanted to further build upon my skills from pharmacy school. I knew I wanted to become a clinical pharmacist after working as an intern in a hospital and completing my APPEs. I witnessed firsthand the impact that clinical pharmacists have on patient care and knew that I wanted to make the same impact. I view residency as a challenging and exciting year to learn as much as possible and develop my skills to become the best pharmacist I can be.

Why did I choose Morton Plant Hospital at BayCare?
Morton Plant has a wide selection of rotations in many different practice areas that will help me to develop into a well-rounded pharmacist, including opportunities offered at other Baycare sites. During my interview, I felt a strong sense of community and support, which I highly value in a residency program. I want to learn and grow in a supportive yet challenging environment, and I think that Morton Plant is the best place for me to do so.
