Why did I choose to complete a residency?
I chose to pursue residency because I wanted to further develop my clinical competency and strengthen my ability to provide high-quality patient care. Since my long-term goal is to become an emergency medicine pharmacist, I saw residency as an important step in building a strong foundation, refining my critical thinking skills, and gaining diverse experiences that will help prepare me for the fast paced and complex environment of emergency medicine.
Why did I choose St. Joseph’s Hospital South at BayCare?
I chose St. Joseph’s Hospital-South because I grew up in the community it serves, and I value the opportunity to give back to a community that has played an important role in my life. At the same time, I was drawn to the learning opportunities and resources available at St. Joseph’s Hospital-South. I believe this institution will allow me to continue growing professionally while learning from experienced clinicians and contributing meaningfully to patient care.
