Why did I choose to complete a residency?
I pursued a PGY-1 residency to further expand on the knowledge gained from an institutional setting and to gain clinical training. During my residency, I plan to absorb all the clinical facets from my respective preceptors, provide optimal patient care, and build confidence in medication management. I look forward to growing as a clinical pharmacist over the next year while solidifying connections from my educational background and building interdisciplinary relationships across healthcare institutions. A residency is designed to train you in becoming a well-rounded, versatile pharmacist; I aim to take in all the learning experiences and go the extra mile to link various clinical concepts. My goal is to foster meaningful skillsets that I can universally apply as a healthcare professional.
