Why did I choose to complete a residency?
I knew completing residency was an investment into my future success as a Clinical Pharmacist and overall personal growth. Residency serves as a foundational step towards my long-term personal and professional goals. It is also the place to learn and grow confidence and character building when working as an interdisciplinary team.
Why did I choose Winter Haven Hospital at BayCare?
I chose to early commit to WHH/Winter Haven Family Health Center II because of the design in learning alongside the medical residents, familiarity with the clinic and preceptors from my PGY1 elective rotation at the clinic, and the values of the program. I wanted to pursue a program that would push me to develop confidence in my clinical skills and abilities, while also prioritizing my well-being.
