Why did I choose to complete a residency?
Throughout my time in pharmacy school, my experiences have shaped me into a professional clinician and leader. Completing a pharmacy residency was important to me because it would allow me to continue to grow as a clinical pharmacist. I knew it would provide me with the tools necessary to build and strengthen my clinical knowledge, grow in confidence, and sharpen my interprofessional communication skills.
Why did I choose St. Joseph’s Hospital at BayCare?
St. Joseph’s Hospital has a special place in my heart. My pharmacy journey started at St. Joseph’s Hospital as a pharmacy volunteer during my second year of undergrad which opened the opportunity for me to become a pharmacy technician and intern there. The leadership team, pharmacists, and technicians there have taught me so much and they have made me feel like family. Completing my residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital allows me to grow as a pharmacist with my family.
