Why did I choose to complete a residency?
After experiencing different areas of pharmacy through job opportunities and involvement in pharmacy school organizations, I knew I wanted to practice in a clinical setting. I chose to complete a residency to further my clinical development while also exploring deeper opportunities for involvement in hospital pharmacy, so that ultimately, I could be a strong and confident clinical pharmacist.
Why did I choose St. Joseph’s Hospital at BayCare?
I chose St. Joseph’s Hospital for the positive learning environment, excellent support system, and plethora of opportunities offered to help residents succeed. This program aligned with my goals of developing strong clinical skills needed to excel in my profession, but more importantly, the community and values at St. Joseph’s Hospital demonstrated the caring nature of all who work here, and I knew this was a community I wanted to grow in both personally and professionally.
