Why did I choose to complete a residency?
I pursued a PGY-1 Residency to become a multifaceted clinical pharmacist capable of providing the best care for my patients. During my residency, I will expand my clinical knowledge, grow professionally, and develop interprofessional relationships with my fellow team members. I look forward to the positive, long-lasting experiences I will gain over the next year and the impact they will have in reaching my career goals.

I knew St. Joseph’s Hospital-South and BayCare would be a place where I can flourish after speaking with preceptors and past residents. There is a welcoming culture of professional growth and development that is tailored to individual success which sets this program apart from the rest. With robust clinical rotations, this program will equip me with the knowledge and skill sets to be the best clinician I can be. I am honored to call St. Joseph’s Hospital- South my new home.
